The fun starts at 6:00pm with hot dogs and pizza for sale to help support our school! Great door prize giveaways, and more! Then at 7:00pm the Open House begins! Walk your students Monday schedule and meet the teachers! For more details, log on to HSANA-PTO
Harmony Schools Earn Top Academic Ratings
Texas Education Agency (TEA) announced on Friday, August 1st, 2008 that all Harmony Schools earned the highest academic ratings under the state’s accountability system; Seven out of fourteen schools were rated as “exemplary” which is the top category and the other seven were rated as “recognized”. All Harmony students and teachers alike worked rigorously since the beginning of the school year to master the skills needed to be successful on the TAKS tests. Thanks for a job well done!
Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) is a state mandated test which is administered since the 2002-2003 school year. The TAKS measures the statewide curriculum in reading at Grades 3-9; in writing at Grades 4 and 7; in English Language Arts at Grades 10 and 11; in mathematics at Grades 3-11; in science at Grades 5, 8,10, and 11; and social studies at Grades 8, 10, and 11.

HOME VISITS
Overall goal of home visiting is to help strengthen relationships between parents and teachers. Home visiting programs are an effective way for teachers to get parents involved in their child's education and to let parents and children know how much they care.
We have started to homevisits. Expect a visit from us anytime!
ALL FOR ANOTHER AMAZING SCIENCE FAIR
We had our Harmony Science Fair orientation on Wednesday for both our students and parents. Mr Aygun gave them a presentation on why and how to prepare a science fair project. In the end, participants were handed some useful science fair documents including Science Fair Project Booklet, Science Fair Project Cover Sheet, and Science Fair Calendar.
